Hostel Facilities
Girls Hostel : Shaildevi Mahavdyalaya provides hostel facilities for the girls students. Girls Hostel is named as “Yashomati Mahila Chatravas”. Girls Hostel is spread on the three floors building in the lush green locality. Hostel is located within the college campus, with the capacity of 80 girls students. Hostel is fully furnished with all the required facilities such as water cooler, air cooler, solar energy system with 24 hour electricity. Hostel provides excellent mess facilities for the students, where fresh and healthy food is served to the students.
Boys Hostel : Shaildevi Mahavidyalaya provides hostel facilities for the Boys students as well. Boys hostel is spread in two floor in lush green locality. Hostel building is just 200 meter away from the college campus, with the capacity of 60 students. College hostel is fully furnished with all the facilities such as water cooler, air cooler, solar panel and 24 hour electricity. Hostel provides excellent mess facilities for the students, where fresh and healthy food is served to the students. Note: To avail the hostel facility student must follow the rules and regulations, made by hostel administration.
Laboratry Facilities
SCIENCE LABS (PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY, BOTANY AND ZOOLOGY)
Science educators have believed that the laboratory is an important means of learning. Laboratory teaching assumes that first-hand experience and observation is the one of the best way of understanding. Shaildevi Mahavidyalaya is having excellent laboratory facility for the various streams of science. Excellent lab facility is available for Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Advance equipments, tools and infrastructure are available for the students. College is providing one of the best infrastructures in the region and serving the purpose of teaching and learning.
CURRICULUM LAB
In the curriculum lab, students learn and benifited to create their own curriculum contents related to teaching aids through which students get confident to express their teaching ability in school and college.
ART ROOM
Students can create artistic idea along with study in department of education. “Kala Vithika” is available as art room and the student can create their own art and creativity work under the audience of learner faculty member.
PSYCHOLOGY LAB
In the curriculum of bachelor of education, psychology is a compulsory subject to fulfill the requirement of student. Department has well equipped psychology lab. In a lab apparatus are well arranged and psychological questionaries,scales and experimental tools are also available.
LANGUAGE LAB
Language is a medium of learning. Its lab are well equipped with new modern technology with audio video system. Good collection of video and CD which help the students to follow the proper accent of grammer and language, Though tested software available in the lab.

Shaildevi Mahavidyalaya provides transportation facilities for the students and staff as well. College is having direct road connectivity with the nearby cities like Durg, Bhilai and Balod, fixed bus services are available for these locations. College provides bus facilities as per the requirement of the students in nominal fees..

Girls Common Room
Being a social element it is essential for our girls student to socialize a bit, meet, interact and share their thoughts. College has recognized the need and facilitate our girls students. A girls common room is provided for having personnel space for the girls students. A spacious and well maintain girls common room with all the amenities are available within the college premises.
Auditorium and Seminar Hall
Fully equipped and spacious auditorium is available in the college premises. It is very much utilized to host seminar, guest lecturer and various other academic and cultural events. It is used in house meeting and important functions of university as well. Auditorium is equipped with latest gadgets such as Projector, Digital Podium and top quality Sound System. It is very much useful for the students events such as presentation, group activity, social and cultural events.
Yoga Hall
Yoga is an essential part of Shaildevi Mahavidyalaya culture. A well equipped and spacious yoga hall is available in the college premises itself. The yoga hall available not only for the students perusing “Diploma in Yoga” but students belongs to any other streams as well. Regular practice sessions are organized by the well trained instructor. Various yoga cams is organized by the college and university.
